Silver print, the image measuring 4⅝x3⅝ inches (11.8x9.2 cm.), flush mounted, the secondary mount 8¼x6⅞ inches (21x17.5 cm.), with Weston's initials and date "1935" in pencil on secondary mount recto, and his signature, title, and date "1935" in pencil on secondary mount verso.

A Private Collection in Mexico; to the Present Owner

Also known as Carlotta Grisi, Carmelita was an accomplished modern dancer who knew Weston in Santa Monica.
