EILEEN MAYO (1906-1994) AUSTRALIA. Circa 1957. 39x25 1/8 inches, 99x64 cm. Litho McLarens, Melbourne. Condition B+: horizontal creases through text at bottom; repaired tear through bottom margin into image. British-born Mayo was a painter, illustrator and printmaker. She moved to Australia in 1953, and designed a series of posters highlighting some of the continent's exotic wildlife including kangaroos and the Great Barrier Reef.
