ELAINE O'NEIL (1946- ) A multi-paneled cyanotype cow quilt entitled Rather See than Be One. A unique quilt, with 192 silhouetted cows in a grid, 4 per fabric panel, each cow outlined in red thread. With red tassels at the corners of each cyanotype, corresponding to a white button on the rear. The full quilt backed and bordered in a rich red. Each cyanotype measuring approximately 4x5 1/2 inches (10.2x14 cm.), the full quilt measuring 72x67 inches (182.9x170.2 cm.). 1976
