This linoleum cut is a very scarce print by Elizabeth Catlett - based on My reward has been bars between me and the rest of the land from the 1946 I am the Negro Woman series. Another impression entitled Separation and dated 1954 is in the collection of the Studio Museum in Harlem, New York.
