Autograph Letter Signed, "Elizabeth," to Albertus Morton, in English, expressing gladness that he is going to France, assuring him that his sweetheart is doing well but that she requires more horses for her coach, asking whether he would lodge in France with the son of Cameraria, inviting him for a visit before leaving, and, in a postscript, sending regards to Sir Henry Wotton. 1 page, small 4to, with integral address leaf; minor scattered smudging to text, folds. I am fatning [fattening] upp your sweetheart for you; she doth prosper verie verie well as this bearer I can witness she doth battle apace. I am affrayed she will putt you to more charge then you are aware of for youre coache horses will not suffice to draw her; . . . now I must desire you to in ernest when you goe to take a young youth with you, it is Camerarias sonne he desires he may be with you for a time in France, onelie for his lodging and table, and waite upon you.
