This set was used to promote Gemini G.E.L.'s recent printing of Kelly's lithographs, the first to be produced by the workshop. The original lithographs were derived from Kelly's 1967-70 paintings, which departed from his previous work relying on curvilinear shapes (see Axsom 61, 63 and 65-70).
