Emil and his brother Fred opened up a design studio in Paris but returned to work in their native Switzerland before the Second World War. Both designed a small handful of posters. Emil was a type designer, and several of his posters for PKZ reflect his love of letters. But as this image shows, he was also a talented draftsman.
