Prampolini was an Italian Futurist painter, architect and sculptor who assisted in the design of the Exhibition of the Fascist Revolution. "Thaïs," staring actress Thaïs Galizky, directed by Anton Giulio Bragaglia, was a silent film for which Prampolini designed the scenery. This image, which predates the artist's foray into more abstraction and "cosmic idealism," was also printed as a postcard. Rare.
