[8], 441, [15] pages, including final blank. 4to, 193x138 mm, mid-17th-century (Transylvanian?) leather over pasteboard with 19th-century gilt spine lettering, covers blind-tooled to panel design with the front additionally stamped MIC B BOL and dated 1646, spine darkened, chipped at top, joints rubbed; mostly moderate foxing throughout, occasional marginal dampstaining, scattered underscoring and marginalia, restoration in lower outer corner of 2A5 touching a few letters, later owner's notes on final blank and rear pastedown. 18th- and 19th-century Hungarian owners' signatures on title, stamp of the Unitarian Consistory of Kolozsvár dated 1883 on verso, and their inscription dated 1884 to James T. Bixby, emeritus professor of religious philosophy at Meadville Theological School; laid in is a 1920 ALS from him presenting this copy to the Meadville library.
