Carboni worked on campaigns for prominent companies such as Motta, Barilla, Pirelli, Shell, the Italian National Radio and others. He applied a rigorous modernism to his work, producing his clients' complete graphic line from packaging to posters. This cross promotional competition between the MGM film studio and Motta, offered 500 prizes, the grand prize being 10,000 Lire and the 5 first prizes being trips to eight European capitals.
