For over thirty years, starting in 1951, posters for the Porsche competitions were designed by Eric Strenger. He revolutionized the design of racing posters by introducing modern typography and photography. In addition to designing many of the Porsche posters, Strenger also designed the company's logotype, still in use today, and the covers for over 300 sales brochures in use through the mid 1960s.
