The Sebring track in Florida opened for racing in 1950, and in 1952 it began holding the 12-hour endurance test for which it is now world renowned. Pictured is the 550 Porsche Spyder, famous as a racing car and infamous as the car James Dean was driving when he died. In addition to designing many of the Porsche posters, Strenger also designed the company's logotype, still in use today, and the covers for over 300 sales brochures in use through the mid 1960s.
