This work seems to combine two of Crichlow's most famous works: the acrylic painting Young Worker, in the Paul R. Jones collection at the University of Delaware, and his famous print Waiting. In this mixed media piece, we see the barbed wire motif used in Waiting with the same young female subject of Young Worker.
