A cog railway is making its way up the side of a mountain, past the impressive Rhone Glacier. The composition of this image reflects a fairly standard vantage point for posterists advertising mountainous regions and railways. Both Roger Broders and Roger Soubie used the same perspective (points of geological interest seen from over a train's shoulder) for promoting travel to different glaciers.
