Self-portrait of the iconic artist and designer with a cat. Silver print, the image measuring 152x111 mm; 6x4 3/8 inches, the mount 305x222 mm; 12x8 3/4 inches, with Erté's signature in ink on mount recto, and a Harper Bazaar stamp and the date on mount verso. 1919.
Erté signed a contract with Harper's Bazaar in 1915 and for the next 21 years contributed fashion covers and original drawings in the Art Deco style.
