A member of the Novecento and famed for his caricatures and watercolors, Colmo, who signed his art Golia, also designed posters. Here, in a colorfully geometric, structured image he shows the building housing the massive 1928 Turin Fair. Bright, bold and lively it is an engaging, stylized view, with not a hint, aside from the printed list at the bottom, of the wonders represented inside. Bolaffi p. 64.
