Sara Larkin is one of the exclusive group of artists that have been commissioned by NASA to document and record the history of the space program. Her paintings have been exhibited at both NASA Headquarters and the National Air and Space Museum in Washington D. C.; at the Langley and Kennedy Space Centers, and in numerous corporate collections. Her space paintings have often been mistaken for actual photographs, but there is no photographic process involved in any form.
