"An impressionistic, spectral view of the Old Faithful Geyser" (Zega p. 83) created in the same soft, watercolor style of this artist's only other known poster, also for the Northern Pacific, promoting a Rodeo Parade in the Montana-Wyoming Dude Ranch country. A Minnesota native, Brewer is best known for his advertising illustration work for Cream of Wheat, but he was also an active muralist and a prominent portrait painter.
