Fassbender's caption states: "2 1/4 x 3 1/4 camera. It was necessary to give short exposure, using small diaphragm, to gain exceptionally brillant reflections. Overall tone balance was created via reduction of the original negative. Direct enlargement toned blue in Gold Chloride toner."
