Title within etched border by Jost Amman; 128 (of 129) etched plates by Fendt; lacks the last plate, and the two-leaf letterpress dedication. Folio, 19th-century mottled sheep gilt, spine ends chipped; title torn in upper outer corner affecting border and mounted, contents variously soiled and dampstained, severe staining in lower inner corners in middle of volume with restoration not entering images, scattered minor repairs elsewhere. With later owner's rubbing of an ancient Greek stone inscription bound after the title, and manuscript index and notes on several leaves at end of volume.
