Maps from what Rumsey calls the First Edition, with some maps from both the first and second states of the atlas (Rumsey 2680 and 3266). Maps of Georgia, South Carolina, Indiana and Missouri are included in both states. In addition to the original engraved title, a modern title has been added listing the contents of the atlas.
