Narrative table of American history presenting great statistical detail on topics including: chief government officers from the terms of Washington through Polk, signers of the Declaration of Independence and Constitution, register of officers of the Continental Army, key battles of the Revolution and amounts of reimbursements paid to several states for expenses incurred during the War, naval vessels and military outposts operating in 1846, and states' population by 26 different categorizations. The various text boxes are delineated by symmetrical hand-color and the entirety is hemmed in by a decorative border incorporating a bellicose American eagle and small vignettes representing the 30 states (including Texas). A fine and unusual non-map publication by the Colton firm with no copies traced in database records.
