Henri (1893-1982) was a photographer and artist who worked most of her career in Paris, though she travelled extensively for her studies in Rome with the Italian Futurists, in Paris and at the Dessau Bauhaus in Germany. Her work occupied a central place in the world of avant-garde photography in the late 1920s.
