FLOWN ASTP Postal Cover. An envelope approximately 6.5x4.5 inches with a cachet of the ASTP emblem and spacecrafts in flight. Canceled at the Baykonur Cosmodrome on 15 July 1975 just prior to the Soyuz launch and carried on the mission. 1975

rare. one of only 25 postal covers carried on soyuz during the mission with just three retained by each of the 5 crew members. Signed by Tom Stafford, Vance Brand, D. K. Slayton, Aleksei Leonov, and Valery Kubasov during the mission on 17 July 1975. On the reverse, the cover has been certified flown by Thomas Stafford: "Flown in Soyuz and signed by all crew members during the flight of ASTP, Tom Stafford."
