Additional Details

This LM schematic, labeled "24 APS SIG" for 24 volt Ascent Propulsion System Signal, was a critical reference tool during the flight. Many of the LM systems were powered down to save electrical power. The crew was able to monitor flight systems with this and other schematics. If the LM Descent Engine failed, the Ascent Engine was the only remaining large rocket engine to give the crew any chance to return home to earth.
