Additional Details

These were two crew personal equipment items issued to Cernan for the flight and used in Lunar Module 'Snoopy'. Spoons were engraved to identify each crew members personal utensil. After years of expensive tests, it was found that a simple digestible toothpaste would be adequate for dental hygiene while using a standard tooth brush. The back of the wood plaque has been inscribed and signed by Cernan with: "Flown to the Moon on Apollo X, Eugene Cernan. With a Typed Letter Signed by Cernan.
