Additional Details

This towel assembly bag was used by Astronaut James Irwin inside the LM after "Falcon" landed on the lunar surface. It was part of his crew personal equipment and logged over 66 hours on the Moon. Almost 20 hours of that time was in the lunar vacuum inside the LM during three of Scott and Irwin's lunar surface explorations or EVA's. Post EVA periods exposed all interior LM material including this bag to lunar dust that had become embedded in the crew's space suits. With a Typed Letter Signed by Mrs. James Irwin.
