Additional Details

This cutting instrument served a variety of functions including opening meal bags and pouches. This was the very tool Irwin used to remove his name tag and emblems from both his flight coverall jacket and the PLSS or "back pack" used during his three lunar surface excursions. The instrument was on the Moon for approximately 67 hours.
