FLOWN U.S. Beta Flag. This flag was originally on one of Paul Weitz's tan inflight jackets. Weitz cut this emblem from his jacket prior to disposal. Measuring approximately 5.5x3.5 inches, the emblem has original stitching and Durette jacket material from which it was cut. NASA/MSC, 1973

On the reverse side over the tan Durette material, Weitz has inscribed and signed: "Taken from my inflight jacket worn on Skylab I (SL-2), Paul Weitz, PLT." With a Typed Letter Signed which provides enough space to allow this emblem to be displayed with the letter.
