The chief designer for the Parisian gallery La Maison Moderne established in 1898 by Julius Meier-Graefe, the leading art critic who founded the Munich decorative arts journal, Pan. The gallery closed in 1904 but Follot continued to design jewelry until 1914--Becker, Art Nouveau Jewelry, pages 46-47.
