Myers (born 1941) is an American artist known for his sculptural works of furniture and large-scale public works such as The Wall (1973) in Soho. Born in Hawaii and raised in California, he moved to New York in 1961 where he shifted his artistic practice towards sculpture and became involved in the artistic community in Soho. He was a founding member of Park Place Gallery, a cooperative regarded as the first gallery in the Soho area. He works with industrial materials including steel, concrete, and aluminum, exploring their inherent properties.
