Condition B+: restoration along vertical and horizontal folds; abrasions in image; minor restoration at edges. An elegant assemblage of theatre-goers bedecked with minks, monocles and top hats, are exiting Southport's Garrick Theatre into a rainy evening. The theatre, considered an Art Deco masterpiece, was designed by a local architect, George Tonge. It opened a week before Christmas in 1932.
