Vol 2, frontis, title, xliv, (2), 306pp, including a few fold-out illustrations of music scores within text pages, one printed in black and red, later full polished calf, stamped in blind, lettered in gilt at spine, marbled endpapers, edges stained red (ex-library with blind stamps to title pages, and ink stamps to versos, stain to lower edge of Vol 1, moderate rubbing, dusting and mild damp stains to top edges, else very good). Written by, and featuring the type faces of Pierre-Simon Fournier (Fournier le Jeune).
