Condition B+ / B: overpainting, repaired tears and restoration in margins; repaired tears, creases and restoration in text and image and along vertical and horizontal folds. Framed.

Portier created an expert illustration of speed with the two torpedo-like race cars in alternating red and white, zooming away from the viewer. Instead of just using lines to suggest the wind rushing past, Portier used texture and a blurring effect to drag the black and red and white of the paper into streaks.
