FRANCISCO TAMAGNO (1851-1933) & ALBERT GUILLAUME (1873-1942) IMPRIMERIE CAMIS. 1896.
77 3/4x50 1/2 inches, 197 1/2x128 cm. Camis, Paris.
Condition B+: foxing and discoloration in margins and image; vertical and horizontal folds; restored punch-holes in left margin.
A rare example of a poster designed by two artists, in this case the two best designers employed by Camis. As this image promotes the printing company itself, which claimed to have the largest presses in the world, it is appropriate that the poster is so large. It is a spectacular document on the history of French lithographic poster printing, and extremely rare. Imprimerie 63.
