Frank Newbould did extensive work for the London & North Eastern Railway, but he also worked for the Great Western Railway, The Orient Line (shipping company) and the Belgian Railways. Adept at depicting both architecture and people, Newbould composed his colorful posters with a strong graphic eye. Voyage p. 81, Furness vol. 2, p. 34.
