Born in Poland, Krajcberg (born 1921) has spent most of his carer in Brazil following his artistic training in St. Petersburg and Stuttgart (1950s). He is well known for his sculpture, made from parts of dead or incinerated treest from the rainforest; he has traveled extensively throughout the Amazon to obtain his sculpture materials.
