Franz Kline gave this collage to Mr. Herman Somberg as a wedding present in 1960. Kline and the Sombergs were close friends; Kline was his best man.
With a copy of a dated letter of attestation describing the provenance. Exhibited in 1986 at the Everhart Museum, Scranton, PA.
