Deposition: "Arthur Hickman aged about 50 years deposeth and says that in the years seventeen hundred and fifty nine he was on the eastern Shore at the house of the deponent's father William Hickman and heard his father William Hickman give a Negro girl named Peggy to the daughter of Henry Hickman, his son, named Comfort Hickman.
