Additional Details

There's a very interesting tale here: Dammer had apparently rented Milly out to Cook, who mistreated her. She then takes it out on Dammer, who brings Cook to court for the original mistreatment. At the bottom of this document are the initials "R.B.T." next to which someone has penciled "Roger B. Taney," who was later Chief Justice in the Dred Scott case.
