Third edition, octavo, illustrated with engraved frontispiece portrait by David Loggan (second of the three states), inscribed by Eyre on typographical title page; with longitudinal half-title in the second signature and publisher's ads present at the end; bound in full contemporary English sheepskin, lightly worn and unsophisticated, with flat spine, paper label, and some modest worming to covers; edge of frontispiece with paper repair, some marginal paper flaws to text leaves; 6 1/2 x 4 1/4 in.

Although this particular Isabella Eyre has yet to be positively identified, Oxfordshire baptism records show an Isabella born to a Richard and Elizabeth Eyre and baptized in August of 1704.
