Oil on canvas board, depicting a newly married couple as they exit the church, with idyllic Victorian gingerbread houses in the background, a throng of well wishers crowding the couple, and a chauffeur waiting in a long black car at the end of the sidewalk; signed in lower right corner; in a gilt frame; exhibited at the Brandywine River Museum in the Fall 1985 show, America's Great Women Illustrators, with exhibition slip pasted to back of frame; 18 1/4 x 14 in. sight; 22 1/2 x 18 in. with frame.

Fox was the first woman inducted into the Society of Illustrators' Hall of Fame. She was a member of the Charles E. Cooper Studio, one of the most influential studios of commercial art in the mid-20th century. Fox's illustrations were published in Seventeen Magazine, Better Homes and Gardens, Woman's Day, and in many other magazines and books.
