[Together with] Uncorrected galley proof copy of the first American edition, inscribed by Francis in blue ink on the title: "Hi Matt!!"; sporadic light creasing; original light green wrappers hole punched and bound with string, printed with black; multiple sections of offsetting, a few stains, some creasing, bumped at extremities; original "Rinehart Suspense Novel" advertisement with price attached to front board with two sections of tape, one aged; 12 x 7 1/4 in.
