Colonial Airlines operated between 1942 and 1956, when it merged with Eastern Airlines. The artist esigned at least four posters for the island. Originally printed with just the island's name, various airline companies, such as B.O.A.C., Colonial Airlines and United would overprint their company's name on the poster.
