One in the fourth state (of 9), with the aquatint in the skating scene solid and with extensive burnishing around the figures' legs lower center; the other in the fifth state (of 9), with the aquatint in the skating scene and elsewhere streaked, with a total of 5 dogs (3 in the foreground and 2 in the middle ground) and before the additional text in the lower margin. The first with the artist's red ink stamp (Lugt 977, lower right recto). Both superb, dark, richly-inked and early proof-like impressions. Bourcard/Goodfriend 128.
