Two large quarto volumes, printer's vignette to title, illustrated with engraved title in first volume, twenty-two engraved divisional titles (one for each book of the tale), and seventy-two full-page engravings (three for each book, thirty-six in each volume) both half-titles present; large untrimmed copies with deckle edges throughout, bound in contemporary green paper-covered boards, many page number placements noted in manuscript at the foot of the plate, possibly a by-product of the production process and meant to be trimmed away, 14 x 10 1/4 in.
