Condition B+: restored losses and restoration along vertical and horizontal folds; minor staining in image. In the illustrative, colorful style of Jules Cheret and the other artists at Paris' Chaix printing house, Favre delivers an alluring atmospheric interior of a Bordeaux music-hall. It is hard to imagine that this is the same artist who designed a handful of strong Art Deco bicycle posters in the 1930s, but the signature is the same.
