First two issues of the "G.M.H.C. Newsletter." 34, 62 pages. Original glossy color wrappers, 215x175 mm; 8¼x6¾ inches and a bit smaller; minor wear, a bit of pencil underlining, later price stickers on rear wrappers. New York, July 1982 and January 1983.
The first issue was created in response to the new "AID (Acquired Immune Deficiency)" which had "killed nearly 200 Americans." A non-partisan attempt to distribute free scientific and medical information while "panic is now spreading among all of us." Includes a long article by co-founder Larry Kramer.
