Gee Vaucher is known for her involvement in the anarcho-punk band Crass. She was pivotal in establishing a definitive, striking visual identity for the band and their independent record label, Crass Records. Though she has long been an underground icon in the punk subculture, Vaucher's work has, in the last decade, begun to circulate and receive greater acknowledgement in the art world at large.
