Numerous woodcut astronomical, geographical, and navigational illustrations and diagrams depicting constellations, solar and lunar eclipses, climatic zones, use of instruments, etc., with working volvelles on I1v and P3r only (missing on C3v and D1v); folding woodcut cordiform world map (separated at fold, with oxidation damage affecting text and allegorical figures at top and with 17th-century annotations on verso). [2], 68, [2] leaves. 4to, contemporary limp vellum, ties lacking; marginal foxing and soiling and single small wormtrail through most of volume, oxidized ink stains in upper margins (also extending into middle of title page and I2.3) causing varying text and image loss, title with top line cropped and 17th-century ownership inscriptions, small piece torn from bottom of D1 with text loss on recto. sold as is.
